Terms of Service
Last updated: June 14, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Intera (“Intera,” “we,” “us”), an AI-powered mock interview platform. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Intera.
The service
Intera lets you practice technical, behavioral, and system design interviews with a voice AI that listens, responds, and gives you structured feedback. Intera is currently offered as a beta product. That means features may change, and the service may occasionally be unavailable or behave unexpectedly.
Your account
You must be at least 16 years old to use Intera. You’re responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. The information you provide must be accurate, and you may not share your account or use someone else’s.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Intera for anything unlawful, or to harass, abuse, or harm others;
- attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the service or its underlying systems;
- interfere with other users’ use of the service, or attempt to circumvent usage limits or access controls; or
- upload content you don’t have the right to share, or that infringes others’ rights.
Your content
You keep ownership of the content you provide and generate — your voice recordings, transcripts, and the feedback tied to your interviews. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the service to you (for example, to record your session, transcribe it, and generate feedback). Our handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Plans, billing, and cancellation
Intera offers a free tier and paid subscriptions. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor. You can cancel at any time; your paid access continues until the end of the current billing period, and we don’t provide prorated refunds for partial periods unless required by law. We may change pricing or plan features, and we’ll give reasonable notice of material changes.
Beta and availability
Because Intera is in beta, access may be limited, gated by a waitlist, or changed at any time. We don’t guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may modify or discontinue features.
AI-generated feedback
Intera’s feedback, scores, and suggestions are generated by AI for practice purposes only. They may be incomplete or wrong, and they are not professional, career, or legal advice. We don’t guarantee any outcome from using Intera, including interview or hiring results.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don’t warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Intera will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, opportunities, or profits, arising from your use of the service.
Termination
You can stop using Intera and delete your account at any time (see our Privacy Policy for how). We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to others or to the service.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Intera evolves. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
